I adopted Ursa from a shelter in February of 2017. Her age, and history, is unknown but most vet's estimates put her at 13-15 years old. Looking at her, you'd never know. Ursa is healthy, spayed, up to date on her shots, and still very active. She has no issues with stairs, long walks, or jumping onto the bed for a snuggle. Ursa is slow to trust new people, but she is incredibly sweet and loving once you earn her trust. As much as we love her, it is no longer in her best interest to stay with us. Despite years, and thousands of dollars in training, we have not been able to get her and our other dog to get along, and we have exhausted all of our options. Ursa needs a new home without other dogs, cats or small children, with someone who can provide a safe and loving home for her. Vet references and a home check are required. We are in the Raeford, NC area, but willing to travel to get her the right home.
