About Chase

Chase is about 6 years old. He is a German Shepherd who loves to work and perform tricks. He can learn any trick you teach him with the proper motivation and he loves to play with just about any toy you bring him; however, balls and squeaky toys are his favorite! He loves pets, belly rubs and cuddling. He loves his family and will be very protective of his humans against any strangers or furry 'foes'. Visitors will take time and patience to warm up to after he decides they are non threatening. Chase is dominant and will do best in a home without any other pets; however, he has been capable of playing with other dogs in controlled settings. Chase is not particularly food driven, so he won't eat anything that isn't food and is actually quite picky with his food as he seems to prefer more healthy treats like carrot sticks, freeze dried beef liver and minty dental chews! Chase has skin allergies and can get physically sensitive at times so this pup yearns for love. Chase will assimilate well into a new home if given a lot of love and patience.
