About Frankie

Frankie is a 2 year old Kelpie mix who wants to be a lap dog. Shes the queen of the cuddle. Shes also a kelpie which means she loves to run, herd, chase and dig. Frankie hasn't had the easiest time finding a home. Shes with her current family who had hoped to keep her forever but it turns out, Frankie doesn't love living with toddlers. The family is working with a trainer and a behaviorist on interventions (training and medication) but there are some challenging behaviors that make the situation untenable. Frankie is extremely smart and loyal but would do best in a home without young children or cats. She has a high prey drive. She needs a significant amount of daily exercise. She also has some separation anxiety that needs to be managed. Shes also a master jumper, so having a tall fenced yard is a key! Frankie is such a wonderful dog and will make an active family so happy! She loves toys, snuggles, walks, runs, hikes, car rides and adventures of all kinds.
