About Jacks

Meet Jacks! Jacks was brought to ICHS as an owner surrender, no fault of his own of course. This handsome man is a very affectionate doggo. He enjoys receiving butt scratches and having all the attention on him! When he doesn't have the shelter staff obsessing over how cute he is, Jacks enjoys being outside. He says there is nothing better than feeling the cool breeze through his ears. Jacks also enjoys working on his skills and receiving all the treats...of course! He currently knows how to sit. While Jacks enjoys meeting our staff members and volunteers, he can be dog selective with some dogs at the shelter. Jacks does not like to be alone and does get upset when he knows he is going to be alone. He would do best with someone who has the time and space to work with him more on this issue. Jacks was one of the dogs that was at our Cause for Paws event last year and did a wonderful job with the crowd and many other dogs that attended. Jacks has the love of 100 dogs to give!
