About Mia

Be careful, once you look into Mia's soulful eyes you will not be able to resist making her a part of your family. This beautiful girl is a 7 year old, 55 pound black Lab mix and it's her turn to relax on a soft bed, sit at the feet of someone who loves her, frolic with her doggie and human friends and just wake up each day knowing that she is safe. Mia is done producing puppies and just wants to be a companion��%BD'��%BD| and a great one she will be. Mia likes her food, treats, belly scratches and attention. She was an outdoor dog but has caught on very quickly to her house manners thanks to her doggie friends in her foster home - she is a quick learner! Mia is fine in a crate, she is a champ with the leash and she is calm in the house. She is a mature adult who is fairly low energy and laid back as many Labs tend to be. Mia will make a wonderful companion for someone who isn't very active and she will be fine in a home as an only dog or in a family with other dog friends�'�|but no cats!
