Mace displays age-related hip/joint ailments and apprehensive behavior with leashing. Mace attempted to bite owner when leashing up dog and loading into the Animal Control Officers truck, Mace displays affectionate behavior with basic interactions; however, also attempted to bite a medical attendant when administering intake vaccines. Mace presents himself as senior dog with intolerance of heavy physical handling, either related to age/discomfort impairments or lack of routine physical handling/leashing during 14 years of ownership from original owner.
