About Riley

Riley is an incredibly sweet people & dog friendly 5 year old female Rottweiler Labrador Retriever that was picked up by Animal Control Officers the night of 9/14 after being tied up and abandoned in front of QueenCity Inn. When Riley arrived to the shelter she not only had a microchip, but some additional 'identification' with WS painted on her back :| The person on Riley's microchip was contacted the night she arrived and informed the shelter he rehomed Riley 'over the internet' a year ago when he had to move out of state. When her former owner heard the news of her whereabouts and 'tagging' done to her they 'swore' they would be down to claim her and redeem Riley of the situation she was put in... but sadly, with her stray hold now up & no one coming to help her, Riley's chance to find a true caring home is a fate left up to the shelter.
