About Silas

Silas is a sweet boy. His birthday is 1-3-2023 so he is 1 year and 9 months right now. He did not have the greatest life growing up he has been shot multiple times and at one point had a broken left front leg that has since healed. He does not do well with cats hence the reason I'm having to find him a new home. He did well with the other dogs he lived with and seems to be doing well with my pitbull. I also have his brother and he doesn't do well with small dogs but Silas has not been introduced to small dogs so unsure how he does with them. He is a nervous baby but honestly who can blame him after all he's been through. He would do best in a home and only taken out for leash walks. However he is not potty trained. He seems to be a smart boy and with some training may come out of his shell and not be so nervous. He has been neutered and microchipped as of 9-17-2024. His mom was a chocolate lab/hound mix and dad was a yellow lab/Great Pyrenees mix. He is currently 50 pounds but is a little malnourished and may weigh closer to 65 pounds when he gets some weight back on him. If you are interested and thinking about adopting more than one dog I also have his brother Sonny who is posted also but they can be adopted separately.
