About Lucky

****adoption pending ***** This darling Cattle Dog/Hound mix is Lucky. He is about 8 months old and weighs 30 pounds. Lucky is lucky that he somehow strayed to the home of a Good Samaritan who is keeping him safe until he gets adopted. Lucky is learning fast. He is already crate trained and making great progress on house training. He is good with men, women, and even lives with kids 8 and up. He is a friendly guy and wants to play. He likes to fetch. He is still in puppy mode with light mouthy behaviors so isn't a fit for small kids. Lucky is also dog social. He lives with very small and very large dogs and is a good guy. He is also a bit submissive to the bigger male dog in the house. He also likes to have a dog playmate. In fact, he likes cats enough that he hopes the cats play also. Lucky is polite in the car, and usually in a crate. He is also doing better on leash training. More practice will make perfect. As with most youngsters, he chews if he is bored. He will find towels, t-shirts, etc to shred if his toys are not accessible.��%BD%A0So just make sure he has plenty of his own toys around. He will grow out of this phase. Lucky is a very special boy. He loves to run and play with the kids in his foster home, but at the same time he is extremely intelligent and can read the room. When it's time to relax and watch a movie he loves cuddling up in a blanket with you. Or he will lay behind you with his head on your shoulder. He loves being within touching distance.��%BD%A0 He also loves special treats and knows the specific sound of the cheese bag.��%BD%A0 Lucky is Spayed/Neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Phelan, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs.
