About CARTER
MEET CARTER! Carter is a 1- to 2-year-old male Doberman-German Shepherd mix (50/50 per DNA testing) who needs a foster or forever home! He looks more like a Dobie than a German Shepherd, and is sweet as they come! Carter was rescued from a scary California shelter, where he was kenneled with another dog and did great. He loves other dogs and is a joy with people, always having a smile to go. He still has some puppy energy, but calms down quickly. He's sweet and affectionate, and very intelligent. He would do best in a home with an active person, people or family with older kids. He would make an ideal family dog. He weighs about 65 lbs. Carter is currently in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon or Washington. Please email for an application.
