About Fanny

Fanny is approximately 12 to 14 months old and is a Miniature Border Collie. I believe she is a mix, not entirely sure, but at 22 lbs, she's a bit small for a full bred. She was an owner surrender with a bit of a back story that is far from the girl we have come to know. We were told that she was super high energy, but I would say (for a Border Collie), its pretty low. She doesnt act up in the house, loves to nap on the couch, and while she will chase a few squirrels outside, its no more or less than the other dogs here at the rescue. Fanny is housebroke and sleeps with her foster momma in the bed. She is crated for meals and when the foster momma has to go out, and Fanny is not a fan. She settles well, unless you are in the house. She can be a bit of a whiner if left in her crate while folks are nearby. Fanny is good on leash and absolutely loves to go on adventures. She is ready for just about anything. We were told that she will attack chickens, so a home without fowl would be best. She is currently fostered with quite a few dogs from very small to very large. Fanny does best with larger dog. She will sit on smaller dogs if they are where she wants to be. She loves meeting new people, and gets along with kids and adults, but she is especially found of men. She is looking for an indoor home only. We require an application and a vet check for our adoptions. We will not adopt to households that have other pets that are not spayed/neutered.
