About Candy

Candy is a girl that is shy, but has the sweetest disposition. She gets along with everyone at the rescue and is just a goofy wonderful girl that doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Candy came to us after being found dumped with a male dog (Dexter) and with 11 puppies. Sadly, one puppy had already passed and then the rest slowly died once at the rescue. The vet suspects they had a viral infection that they picked up when out in the woods still. Candy has been doing great since being with us and did everything she could to help her babies. She's spayed and will never have puppies again so she's just waiting for her forever family to come along. They'll need to be kind and patient with her as she learns to trust and know that she's safe.
