Phat and Slim are two-year-old, shy and sweet, brother patch tabby cats looking for a loving guardian. Phat is 10 pounds and Slim is 8 pounds. These boys were abandoned by their human when he moved from their apartment. He left them in their carrier full of food and water in the hot sun on July 31st. A neighbor saw him do this and asked him to please bring them indoors to their laundry room which was a bit cooler. She reached out to the local fire department, who in turn reached out to me for help. The boys who had never seen a vet before, but are now very healthy, neutered, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, and virus-tested negative. Phat and Slim adore each other and sometimes play fight as brothers do. They are looking for someone with room in their heart and home for two fun felines. They are wonderful in the home. They use their litter box and scratching post like good boys. They just need a family to share their life with. To meet and possibly adopt Phat and Slim, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet them. Their adoption fee of $200 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. They are currently being fostered in Chicago.
