About Allie

Allie is very sweet and loving and always wants to be with her person. She is mostly obedient but can be stubborn if she thinks you are going to fool her into leaving her alone (away from you). She is amazing with our kids, and they pull on her, sit on her, hang on her all the time without a peep out of her. However, she is very anxious so she gets scared of things that move too fast and startle her or approach her too fast if they are unknown. This is the reason I said she is not great with kids, because she barks at unknown kids (like my son's friends running through the house). All of this aside, I want to keep her with us but I feel like it is not a good place for her because we travel frequently for work, kids, and family out of state. Sadly, even though I hare a known person who is very loving to watch her in our home, this stresses her out. She ends up with physical symptoms during and for a while after I return home. She really needs a home where her people are not coming and going (as on vacation) much or can take her with. She is great for days alone, up to 9 hours! She just hates when her person is gone traveling. She is very mellow otherwise and happy to lay around but loves to play if you engage with her.
