About Scottie

Scottie is a friendly and incredibly handsome boxer mix! He is about 2 yrs, 54 lbs and has a beautiful white and light brindle coat. He has become kennel stressed and must be out by 9/24 - looking for a foster or adopter. - He is a super nice boy that would do best in a home with a yard or with an active family that can take him out for walks or runs. - He is a holder so likely house trained. - He knows sit and is very gentle with treats. - He is not at all jumpy or mouthy. - He is strong on leash and would need a harness but he tends to settle once he has had some exercise so some of the pulling may diminish once he's out of the kennel environment. - He probably needs to be in a no cat home and we don't have any dog notes on him. - He is not reactive in the kennels and I did walk him pretty closely past a puppy today and he seemed more interested in the traffic cone than the dog. - Due to his kennel stress he would need very slow intros. - He is not neutered yet but I am hoping we could figure out a plan for him to get neutered if that was a sticking point for getting him into a home.
