About Piper

Piper is a beautiful 8-year-old greyhound mix who was rescued from an NC shelter after her previous family surrendered her. Piper has been in foster care for over a year and needs her own family. Piper is a very good house mate, is quiet in the house, and prefers a quieter environment. She is house trained, and a previous foster reported that Piper did not need a crate. However, Piper is crate trained at her current foster home since they have multiple dogs. She has gotten along nicely with the dogs she currently lives with, and Piper has been good meeting new people. If you have a dog at home, we recommend a meet and greet prior to adoption. At a minimum, we would need to ensure you are able to do very slow introductions and are home to monitor interaction (or keep crated separately when not at home). It is recommended that Piper must go to a home with NO CATS as she has a very high prey drive for cats. Please consider giving this sweet tan and white dog a permanent and loving home!
