About ARCHER

I adopted Archer from a local shelter when he was just under one year old. I've had Archer for over five years now and have had children since his adoption and he is not improving around my children. He does have a bite history. Not from aggression, from insecurity. Archer is perfect around me and my husband, but not large crowds, parties, or children. He was able to live with another dog for five years. He is great on the leash and behaves. Does well on hikes. Very smart and loyal. He is just too unpredictable around children for us and he is not living his best life being separated from the family. He really needs a single person or a couple without children. Please, TEXT or EMAIL if you are interested in adopting Archer. I will not just hand him over. We will all meet more than once. 6 years old, 50 pounds, Anatolian Shepherd mix, can live with other dogs, probably can't live with a cat but might be okay, seems to be okay around livestock.
