About Kane

Kane is an almost 2-year-old pit mix, weighing in at around 45-50lbs. He was one of the Shama Mama babies who was born here at Thrive - through no fault of his own, he's back with us looking for the perfect forever home! This handsome guy is a big goofball who just loves to cuddle and be pet. Playing with his ball is the most important thing to him that he looks forward to, all day every day - he'll make you laugh with how obsessed he is with it! He has shown some past signs of resource guarding his prized possession, however hasn't had an issue with this in several months through working diligently with our trainers and taking appropriate precautions. He is a medium to high energy dog who loves to go on hikes or walks, and snuggle up with you once you're back home. He walks beautifully on a leash and knows basic commands. He would do best in a household with children 14+.
