About Lucy and/or Vida

Lucy and Vida are two very good-natured yellow Labs who were rescued together, and they can be adopted separately or together. These sweet girls are approximately 3 years old and 50 pounds. Sadly, they had been pinned underneath a house in rural NC, and the family asked us to please 'come and get them.' We took them in and both girls have been spayed and received all of their vaccines. Lucy and Vida adore people, and they have been good with the 9-year-old boy who helps take care of them currently. Unfortunately, due to lack of foster homes in rural NC, Lucy and Vida have been in a paid boarding facility for over a year! The facility owner has taken great care of them, but they really need to be in a loving home. Lucy and Vida have been learning their house manners and potty training well. They do have quite a bit of energy and like to run, so a fenced yard would be ideal. If you do not have a yard, but you are able to give 2 or 3 long walks per day, that should be sufficient.
