About Reggie

Reggie is between 1 and�%A0�%A02 years old we believe. He is a�%A0male rottweiler. �%A0He is�%A0�%A0very sweet, loves to lick people once he gets to know them. He lacks self confidence and is scared of most new things and pretty much everything seems to be new to him. I'm not sure where he came from or why he is so frightened but with a little time and encouragement he will gain confidence. He has already improved a lot since we got him 2 weeks ago. He doesn't really have any skills but he smart and is starting to catch on. He can now walk on a leash at least. That wasn't possible te day he came to us. �%A0His BFF is Jackson and Jackson is more scared then he is. �%A0We rescued him off the euthanasia list at MCACC. They were going to kill him because he was scared . He has never shown aggression in any form towards any person or animal that we have seen. Not even a growl when I'm forcing him to do something that he didn't lie or was afraid of, like taking a bath. It seems like who ever owned him, left him out back and nobody interacted with them. I'll admit he does need some work, but if you make the effort, this boy will blossom and be incredibly loyal to you. I bet he becomes the best dog you have ever owned!! �%A0 Give Reggie the break he has been waiting for his whole life and you won't regret it. He is crate trained. He loves his crate actually! Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. �%A0An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500�%A0for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states.�%A0�%A0On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas.
