Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet Week is meant to highlight dogs like Dottie here. Dottie is a large & incredibly sweet 115lb female Rottweiler that was picked up by Animal Control Officers on 9/10/24 after reports of a dog in distress. On arrival, Officers found Dottie with multiple hot-spots on her chest & back, a severe case of fly-strike on her right ear, as well as a swollen right eye. While all these concerns are relatively minor and very likely to fully heal over time, Dottie now finds herself as a large adult dog with flaws to her physical appearance which detract the typical adopter at a shelter. Dottie has been people & dog tested (stay tuned for clips) & presents herself as a total sweetheart...
