Meet Ofi, a 2-year-old bundle of sweetness and curiosity! This girl is the perfect mix of playful and gentle. Ofi loves the outdoors, especially when she's exploring with her sniff mats or working on her Kongs. She's a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs, and while she's curious about cats, she's never shown any aggression. Ofi is wonderful with children and does great in family settings-though we're not sure yet how she'd do around babies. Ofi is crate trained, house trained, and knows basic commands. She's even figured out how to use doggy doors! She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. Importantly, she has never displayed any signs of aggression. Being a high-energy and active dog, Ofi would thrive in a home with a yard or with another dog companion. She does struggle with separation anxiety, so a home where someone is often around-whether that's a stay-at-home parent or someone working remotely-would be ideal. Ofi just wants to be near her people, whether it's lounging at your feet or snuggling on the couch. Ofi's journey started when she was found abandoned on the side of the road in May and rescued by the Williamson County Animal Shelter. When she arrived, she was scared, starving, and clearly had a rough past. We suspect she was neglected and abused before coming into our care. Despite her difficult history, Ofi is nothing but sweet and loving. In just two months, she's made tremendous progress with her training and confidence, but she still needs a home where she won't be left alone for long stretches of time. We absolutely adore Ofi, but with my boyfriend's demanding schedule as a firefighter and the increasing time he's away from home, we've realized we can't give Ofi the attention and care she truly deserves. We want to find her a home where she'll be happier, with someone who can provide her the time, patience, and love she needs to thrive.
