About Nellie

Nellie loves nothing more than giving and receiving love. She loves to give hugs. Nellie is a gentle and calm dog who seems to get along with everyone. She is always sad to go back into her kennel (where our dogs spend most of their time) because she just wants her people. When we went to pick Nellie up, she came to us wardens right away full of happiness and love to give. Nellie seems to enjoy playing in water and just hanging out to get cuddles. She seems to be good with other dogs and would likely be fine with cats, though we have not seen her with them. She would likely enjoy a family with children but would be happy to give her undivided attention also. She is a very happy dog that anyone would be lucky to bring into their home. We believe that she is partially potty trained. You do not have to be local to VC to adopt Nellie, and sometimes we can meet halfway.
