About Foxy

Foxy is a beautiful female, brown and white, 2 year, 35-40 lbs girl seeking her happily ever after. She was rescued from a shelter euthanasia list and is now ready to join a loving, forever home. Foxy likes to play with other dogs and has enjoyed doing so with dogs of all sizes from small to very large breeds, though we feel she'd do best in a home with another dog of her size or larger. She has a curious nature and absolutely loves toys. She wants to be interactive and be a part of things vs. in the background. We think an active family would be a good fit. She does like to jump up and give hugs, so older children would be best or an adult home. We are working with her tendency to jump up on objects or people and she would need her new owners to continue to do so in a gentle way. We sadly feel her past life prior to coming to the shelter may have contained some abuse. She will need a patient, caring new home. She can be a true cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling at night to watch TV with her human companions (yes, she actually watches the television). She's been non-reactive to animals.
