About Chai

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1 year old male Chihuahua, about 6 pounds. Chai is friendly and outgoing. He loves to run around in a fenced yard and go for walks! He is very obedient, comes when called and is always up for a car ride! Chai does fine around dogs that don't pester him. It is apparent that he has had a bad experience with a dominant dog so he can be defensive with dogs that bring him too much energy. He would be perfectly fine as an only dog, being adored by his people! He would do best with older respectful children. Cats are unknown but likely ignored. To request an adoption application, email [email protected] Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
