About Miss Daisy

Hello there, pleased to meet you. My name is Miss Daisy. I'm a beautiful older girl between 9 and 11. I weigh approximately 55 lbs. I may be an American Bulldog mix. My special person died and a relative was taking care of me and living in my person's house. The relative had to be evicted from the house and abandoned me there without any care so I made my way to Guardian Angel Acres via one of the Senior Scenter's care team members and now I am here at the Senior Scenter. This establishment is for only small dogs, but I was lucky that they temporarily took me under their wing. I have been fully vetted, had dental corrections and entropion surgery on my eyes. I am already spayed. I am blind in one eye and have limited sight in the other, but I get around just fine. Everyone that meets me say I am very sweet, chilled old girl that loves being outside. Sunbathing is one of my favorite things to do during the day. And, of course, sleeping on a comfy bed inside at night. I also love meal time and treats. I do require a few petting sessions during the day. I do the sweetest little paw lift if I think you've quit petting me too soon. I get along with other chill medium/large dogs, but I would do best in home with dog savvy folks. I am currently located at the Senior Scenter in Warne, NC. I am safe and currently being housed outside so I would love to find a warm home inside before bad weather hits.
