About Jole

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 6-year-old male Chihuahua, about 7 pounds. Jole was an owner surrender when his male human had to go into a care facility. He came to us a rack of bones, so it has taken some time to get him healthy again. He is a sweet little guy but very skittish with new people and new environments. Even when scared, he doesn't growl or nip and becomes very bonded to his person once he trusts you. He's good in the car, non-reactive to cats and fine with dog savvy children. Jole is not interested in having lots of active dog energy around him, but he LOVES having a single dog that will ignore him and let him snuggle with them. :) He walks on leash just fine but walking in new environments can be scary. So, he would not do well in a busy city or urban community. He would love a quiet home with a quiet yard to lay in the sun. He is a sweet boy that will show you love all day long! All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
