About Luna

Hi, I'm posting this on behalf of my boyfriend's family. Luna is between 4-5 years old and never received proper training, as they got her during quarantine so the trainer cancelled. She needs someone with the money and time to put her through proper training. Luna is very territorial of her home and does not like when new people show up (she growls and barks) but once she gets to know them she's an absolute sweetheart. Outside of her home though, she has never acted territorial or defensive. She is great when out on walks as well as at the vet around other animals and people. She recently showed slight aggression towards their other dog. They were playing and Luna bit their other dogs nipple and there was some blood. She was not seriously injured (did not even need veterinary attention). This was very out of character for her. Luna's parents are planning to have her euthanized next week so we need to find her a new home before then. Luna has never bitten a human and has also never hurt a dog before the incident i stated above. She needs someone willing to love her regardless of her behavior, as well as someone with the money and time to get her properly trained. We are willing to drive her anywhere in central/northern Illinois and anywhere in Wisconsin.
