About Lou Lou

9/12/24 Lou Lou has quite the story. She was adopted by a family from a local shelter in Seattle back in 10/23 who got her from a Korean meat market rescue. At the time of her rescue she only had three legs so there must have been some kind of accident back in Korea. After some time with her adopter she jumped off the couch and broke another leg and her family could not afford the surgery so they relinquished her to our rescue to get her the help she needed. After extensive surgery, a long recovery and some socializing she is now ready for a new and forever home. We have her listed as a Bichon/terrier mix but she's also been listed as 100% Korean Village Dog. She weighs around 17 pounds. She's good with other dogs and will do well with respectful children. Even with three legs and a mended leg there are no long term issues except for some possible arthritis as she ages. She has not been cat tested but would probably do well with a proper introduction and some possible training. **This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $525 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
