About Luna

Luna is a 4 year old lab mix. When we got her 2 years ago she was very skittish and would fall to the ground anytime you raised a hand. She has gotten a lot better in that aspect but has some other issues. She is very fearful of incoming bad weather and does not do well with thunder.. she whines and whines even if the storm isn't there yet until you let her inside. She can sense them coming. She is absolutely wonderful with kids as she has been around my 3 small children for the last couple of years.. when we adopted her I don't think the shelter knew how high needs she would be and we have gotten to the point where we cant give her what she needs. She needs someone who is home most of the day with her and give her lots of love.. she also needs someone who has the capabilities to invest in her weather anxiety..she is also great with other dogs as we have another medium sized dog and two small elderly dogs. She has never disliked a dog she has met. She is extremely friendly and incredibly loving. Her last owners relinquished her for being 'to lovey',I wasn't sure what that meant or how it was possible but she is definitely very lovely, sometimes over the top. I really hope there is someone out there who can devote the time, love and energy to her.
