Lacy is a 90lb- 8-year-old loving girl that was rescued from South LA Shelter by Maeday Rescue. She is a great companion for a single person that enjoys a protective and peaceful dog. We don't know Lacy's story prior to being dumped at the shelter but it seems as if she was a backyard dog that wasn't walked or exposed to people. She has been in a board and train for almost a year now and has come along way. She walks beside you on a leash and knows basic commands. She is a good listener and really wants to please her person. She is protective so her parent must take the time to set her up for success. Lacy is a very sweet and loyal dog. She is tolerant of other dogs but also gets cranky and pushy if disturbed. We suggest she be the only dog in the home. She wants a chill and predictable environment. Lacy thrives with structure and is crate trained. She currently is around other dogs where baby gates and crates are used. She is tolerant of dogs in small increments when there is structure and no food or toys around. It seems as if she was neglected for 7 years and now just wants to be your one and only. She is a true lovebug.
