About Squid

Squid is a ~2 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix who is a giant love bug. He loves cuddling and will follow you around and spend as much time as he can with you. He doesn't always have a good idea of where his body is and will trip or fall accidentally. He knows all his basic commands, walks well (especially with a gentle leader) and generally does well listening to his owners. We've unfortunately made the tough decision to work to re-home Squid as he has bit and drawn blood to our elementary aged niece. He gets overwhelmed when little kids get rowdy, and she got in his face resulting in him biting. He also has not had good success with other dogs. Squid has so so much love to give and receive though, and we want him to live his best life. That would mean a family with no kids and no other animals. He thrives in those situations, and is the biggest cuddle bug, he just unfortunately needs one more chance. We desperately don't want to put him down, but we cannot keep him anymore.
