About Lily

Lily needs a new home! She is an eager-to-please, athletic blue heeler who loves fetch, walks, and being near her humans. She is usually not a cuddler but likes to be in proximity to people. Completely potty-trained and has endless energy for ball throwing, but is at the age where she is fine with lazy days as well. She is responsive when called and told to stay (but does get too excited to 'stay' at mealtime). Lily lives with other dogs, but would also be fine with being solo. She is spayed and up to date on her shots, estimated to be 9 years old, no noteworthy medical history. She has not been able to adapt to our growing family and needs a home without young children. We want to make sure that she goes to a home that is likely to be a great fit, and will want to have conversations with potential adopters as well as a meet-and-greet with Lily (if geographically possible). Based in Western NC, but willing to travel to TN, GA, SC, VA, WVA to bring her to a new owner.
