MIKEY Beagle mix Male (neutered) 5 years old and 29 pounds Tested negative for HW and Lyme, was vaccinated, neutered and is ready for his forever home. Mikey is a gentle, friendly, and affectionate male dog. He is a typical beagle in the sense that he is very curious and gets along with everyone. He loves to explore outdoors and does so with his nose to the ground at all times. Mikey is a very intelligent dog who is already trained to walk on a leash and is very responsive to commands. He also really likes treats, which helps with training! Beagles typically get along well with other dogs and Mikey is no exception. It is clear the shelter month, so we are having discounted adoption prices now through September 30, 2024. You can call the shelter for pricing. Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (DHPP), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
