We are in Texas, and we transport our dogs North because TX is flooded with unwanted dogs already. All of our dogs are vaccinated and on preventatives. Goodcatchdogrescue.org***** Meet Anthony. Well, technically Saint Anthony is his full name. He was born under a church on May 5th to his momma, Monica (Saint of Motherhood) alongside his 7 siblings. Monica, Anthony and his siblings were rescued when he was just a week old. Mom is a beautiful dog both inside and out and we decided to do a DNA test on her and then one was done on one of his siblings. Monica is a Shar-pei, American Pit bull, Chow and Staffie mix. Anthony and his littermates had an additional sprinkle of Boxer and Boston terrier in them. This boy was the runt of his litter. He started out small but at this stage in the game, he's all caught up! We estimate Anthony will grow to around 60 pounds like his momma. Anthony is healthy, he's happy, he loves to swim, and he loves to be held and spoken to. He'll collect toys and has a hidden stash of bones and chews under his bed. Anthony will always find something to keep him occupied and since he was tiny, he's always been self-entertaining. He's perfectly imperfect; this little boy has a crooked tail; we're not too sure who stepped on it, but it's there to stay and he could care less, it wags happily which is all we could ask for. Anthony will do well with another dog or as an only pup, however because of his young age, he cannot be left alone for long periods of time as he needs enrichment and socialization. This is a requirement for a pup as young as him. Children old enough to understand how to handle a puppy and can tolerate his puppy teeth and chewing are more than welcome. Anthony will be an easy-going guy. These are not energetic breeds, but we do look forward to placing him in a home with a yard rather than an apartment setting. This cutie patootie is up to date with his vaccines and is fully dewormed, on preventatives, microchipped and ready for a home of his own. We transport our dogs up North and out of Texas. We use trusted transport partners to safely deliver them to their families. Our adoption fee is $350 and the cost to transport out of state is an additional $300.
