About Cal

Cal is a huge cuddle puddle. He's my very best friend. I'd love to have an open adoption for him and agree on a small fee if I can still see him. Cal is a very high energy blue heeler that I feel needs to be with people who can love him so much as he loves to cuddle but also give him land because he loves to run and be outdoors. His favorite hobbies include tug of war, running, lots of walks, playing with his throw toys, playing with other dogs (his size only), and sun bathing. As loving as cal is, he doesn't do well with children. He won't hurt them but he likes to chase and nibble them. I wouldn't suggest small kids with Cal. He is the most loyal and protective dog to have around. If someone is a danger, he will let you know. If someone is at the door, he will let you know. But, he isn't a huge barker otherwise. He does well on long road trips and is house trained. He will cry to let you know if he needs anything including water, food, or to use the restroom. Cal is so extremely smart. I am going through many life changes that are unexpected and I am unable to give Cal everything he will need from me in the future. Right now, we are attached at the hip and he means the world to me. I need someone who will LOVE him and give him the best life!
