About Luna

Hi, I'm Luna, an exotic looking, whispy furred lady, soon to be 9 years old and I am 13.5 pounds. I am a lovely mature lady, done with the habits of the young and impetuous. I am fostered in Portland, OR. I am a socialite. Also, a house trained, leash trained, crate trained sweetheart. I love sleeping in bed with my people, but I'll also sleep in my crate without complaint. Snuggling is a favorite activity, as is interactive toy play with my person. I love people, walking and hiking, sun bathing. I sometimes get a bit nervous on car rides, but sitting in your lap would solve that...or maybe my own safe spot in the car. I get along with adults, kids, cats, dog, you name it. However, after much thought, I have come to the conclusion that my current home is a bit much for me: my favorite toys are grabbed by the other dogs, I am pushed out of my favorite sun and nap spots. I could live happily with retired people, without the level of activity and the number of bodies in my home. Babies and little children, though I am totally friendly with them, can be a bit much. I am no shrinking violet, but really, I would not mind a retirement home of my very own. I am spayed, vaccinated, have had a recent dental, I have recent blood work and have had impeccable health records since I was a puppy. I come with my belongings: harness, collar, crate, food, a favorite toy.My adoption fee is $250. A great home and must haves for Luna include: 1. An owned or stable renter home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks home a lot. I would just like a nice quieter home. 3. I am fine with another easygoing dog, or a cat, but I also would not mind being the only apple of your eye. And though kids are great, I probably would prefer the visiting grands to the the full time cherubs. 4. Adopters who will include me as a family member and will take me on their fun activities. 5. People who believe in good nutrition and good vet care for the furry family members.
