About DD

Meet adoptable DD! DD was abandoned on a property unowned by her previous owners. She was being cared for by the actual homeowners for a while, but they wanted to give her a real chance at life instead of one on a chain behind their home. DD can be a little distrusting at first, but it's just because she has been abandoned and neglected in the past. She warms up pretty fast, and is incredibly loving to those who give her a chance. We think DD would be the perfect size for an apartment dog or a family that needs a smaller companion for whatever reason. She is VERY petite! DD gets along well with other dogs and even likes to play with others once she warms up! We think DD would be best in a home without small children as she does have a timid nature to her, but she would be fine with kiddos who can be respectful and gentle with her! DD is 33 pounds and 1 year old. She does appear to be full grown! She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative for heartworm disease.
