About Kai

Kai is very very sweet and friendly with people that he knows. However, he has stranger danger and does not like strangers especially in his own home and can be aggressive and snappy. We usually put him in a room by himself or in his crate when we have visitors. He has bitten strangers in our home before. He currently takes 60mg of fluoxetine a day (only $10/ month). He is great on walks and does not act aggressive towards people. We've had him since he was a puppy but recently we have a newborn baby girl and don't trust him with the baby although he has never shown any aggression towards her. He would be best in a home without children and not too many visitors. He loves going on walks and cuddling with you while you watch TV. He has a 'brother' dog that he loves playing with but it did take a week before they got use to each other and established hierarchy, now they love each other. He is a purebred 40lbs Australian Shephard. We have sent him a many training sessions and he is great with the commands 'let's go', 'leave it', 'sit', 'off' & 'spin'. He does form attachments to people fast as he did when we dropped him off for training at a doggy training center. He would be perfect a home with adults that doesn't have too many visitors.
