Henry was rescued by a friend from an overcrowded shelter and was set to be euthanized due to space. Friend adopted him to save him but unfortunately was not able to keep him. I offered to help on a short-term basis to keep him from having to go back to the shelter. He is house-trained, crate-trained, no separation anxiety when left a crate; walks well on a leash; knows a few commands...sit, shake, lay down. He is shy when he first meets people but quickly warms up and his personality explodes. He loves all people...adults and kids. He gets along with my female pit mix; however, I don't think he would do well with a small dog. He does not like to ride in a car but I am trying to work with him on that; although I believe he would do fine if he is crated. When he first came to our home he would 'nervous tinkle' but once he knew his was safe that stopped. He is treat motivated and very very gentle when he takes a treat from you. He is such a sweet and silly boy and deserves a home to call his own. He would be a WONDERFUL addition to a family especially with kids. I am asking for a rehoming fee because I have to be certain he is going to a good home that will love him and take care of him and spoil him rotten.
