About Loki

In a round-about way, through a friend of a friend's daughter, we have been fostering this cute, 10 month old for about 2 months. (His original owner moved to the east coast and wasn't able to take him along.) We have tried to do a good job of socializing him and feel like he is ready for his forever home. He is fully potty trained, knows sit and working on come, heel and stay. He does well on a leash, except when he sees a rabbit and wants to chase it. He doesn't bark at people or other dogs while out on a walk. He seems to like most people, but has growled and jumped at a few that have approached him. When meeting a new dog he doesn't warm up quickly, but he does have a few neighbor dogs that he enjoys walking with. He would do best in a home with no kids or other pets. He's good with waiting to eat his food, but does get a little possessive of chewing treats. He is still a puppy and kind of a goof ball at times, especially when he gets the zoomies at night. He loves attention and belly rubs. He would do best with an experienced dog owner, especially a former chow chow owner. Looking for a home that will be loving and patient and thorough with his training. We hope to find someone who will love and appreciate him for the dog and breed that he is.
