About Loki

In a round-about way, through a friend of a friend's daughter, we have been fostering this cute, 11-month-old Chow Chow for about 3 months but now he's ready for his forever home. He's fully potty trained, knows sit, working on come, heel & stay. He does pretty well on a leash, except when he wants to chase a rabbit. He can be leery of strangers who approach him and will growl and back up. Doesn't warm up quickly to new dogs but does have a few neighbor dogs that he enjoys walking with seems to like cats. He's good with waiting to eat his food, spinning in circles until the bowl is put down, but can get a little possessive of chewing treats. Kind of a goof ball at times, especially when he gets the zoomies at night. Loves belly rubs, playing tug-o-war and patrolling the yard for rabbits. Would do best with an experienced dog owner who can continue training and a house that doesn't have a lot of people coming in and out. Would love to have a yard to run around in and explore.
