About Loki

*****adoption pending ***** This handsome red gent is Loki. Per DNA, he is 75% Cattle Dog and 25% Mini Aussie. He is 1.5 years old and weighs about 37 pounds. Click on the red YouTube button to see a video of Loki. Loki is a smart guy. He knows sit, stay, lie down, and place (his current 'place' is a bean bag chair). He also knows tricks like spin, crawl, paw/hand, touch (he touches his snout to your palm), and through (he walks through your legs). He is house and crate trained Loki is very social. He just loves to meet new folks. At a dog park, he will make sure to greet every human that he can. If someone asks to pet him while on a walk, he just melts to the ground in excitement when he does get to say hi. Loki likes to play with dogs his size and larger. He gets very excited to play, so can jump around some on leash so he can go say hi to other dogs. Loki will fetch a ball a few times, but really adores playing tug-of-war instead. Loki would be a wonderful trail or travel dog. HeLOVES car rides and wants to go on adventures. Loki's doesn't like people to just grab things from his mouth. Makes sense. Just ask him to release and he is fine. However, due to that, he likely isn't a good fit for homes with small kids. Lodi is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Glendale, California. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
