Baxter's owner passed away, and family or friends came and got another dog and some cats but left him behind. He is good with cats, dogs, and children. He is about 4 years old and 40 lb. He does well on-leash, seems pretty mellow, and is a chow hound. Not sure of his breed but think he has either Jack Russell or Rat Terrier in the mix or maybe some Australian Cattle Dog because he's a bit larger.
