About Harry

Our harry boy. This is a very sad decision made by both my wife and I who just had a baby girl. I love this dog so much and it breaks my heart to realize it's not the right thing to do by keeping him while i work and my wife staying at home to take care of both. he is a cattle dog and has herding, head butting, and nipping tendencies and there's already been a few close calls on our newborn. we have a big yard for him but without him getting the fetch and play he needs it does not matter. all we want is for him to find the right family or leader that can support his high energy needs. all i ask i want from a rescuer is to know he will be taken care of. he needs lots of room to run and a loving person to play with him. his ideal rescuer would probably be a couple with no kids (or at least grown) or a single person with no plans to have kids if their own, or to someone retired. he loves walks, loves fetch, and tug. he's NEVER bitten anyone but he does nip, but that is what he was bred to do. I set the adoption fee at 50 just as a placeholder and if i can find the right fit we can discuss that further.
