About Groot
Meet adoptable Groot! Groot's previous owner abandoned him at a dog park in town, He is now at our shelter hopeful for a second chance with an owner that would do right by him. Groot can be just a tad bit shy with newcomers, but even then, you can see the trust growing in his eyes throughout each interaction. The best way to describe Groot is to say that he is very soft and tenderhearted. It is clear that he has been neglected in the past, but despite that, he wants to be right there in your arms whenever possible. He is extremely gentle and well mannered! Groot walks fantastic on a leash and never pulls. Groot is good with other dogs and kids. Groot weighs 50 pounds and is around two years old. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested positive for heartworm disease. To be neutered 9/16.
