About Apple

My name is Apple and I had an interesting start to my life. I was born with funny back feet because I have toe pads, but no toes or toenails! My previous owner and I were living in a car and I had horrible skin problems that needed treatment, but my mom couldn't afford my care. She dropped me off at the vet and never came back, but luckily, the wonderful vet staff found me a wonderful and safe place for me to go get better! That's where I am now! As much as I love Heather and all my friends at the rescue, I would love a home of my own, and I don't like when silly puppies try to eat my food. I'm a hungry girl that needs ALL the food. My funny feet add to my cuteness and my amazing personality. I've heard some volunteers tell others how much they love me and they quietly say I'm one of their favorites! My little feet don't slow me down at all! I love to run around the rescue greeting anyone I can and they love to comment on how it looks like I walk on my tippy toes all the time! But long walks on hard places may hurt my feet, and we can't have that! If you think I would be a great addition to your family, please fill out an application! Cat testing is available for serious inquiries. Transport is an option for out of state approved adopters for a small fee to cover gas and possible hotel.
