We purchased our ragdoll, Pearl, from a breeder April 2020. She loves to sit on my desk and watch me while I work, and she enjoys sleeping on my chest at night. Shortly after we had our third child, Pearl started peeing outside of her litter box. She has had a bladder infection in the past, but an antibiotic quickly helped. Pearl eats a prescription brand cat food to help with her urinary tract health. Unfortunately, the seldom accidents have increased. Pearl likes to pee behind our piano in the toy room. I took her to the vet last month and her urine was fine. I have cleaned our carpet and fenced off the area she likes to pee in, and now she has started spraying on my children's toys. I have three loud children, I am afraid that Pearl needs a home that is quieter than what we can provide. I called the vet again this morning and the final recommendation was to rehome Pearl. This is not an easy decision for our family, and we hope that we can find a new home that will love Pearl. She is a beautiful blue tip ragdoll, I can email pictures if someone is interested as the site would not allow me to upload her picture.
