Saint is a sweet lovable boy who loves receiving attention and affection from those he trusts. We are in the process of getting him up to date with shots and neutered. He is looking for his forever home soon. Because of his behaviorial history, size and breed - we were told he will be euthanized if left at a shelter. Unfortunately, we can no longer take care of him due to personal medical issues and various hardships within the family. Saint is a special boy who desevrves to be in a loving home that is dedicated to him and can provide the attention and care he needs including behaviorial training as he is fearful with strangers in his personal space. He does well outside and needs to earn the trust of others so some patience is required. He does have a bite history: 1 home intruder. 1 family member he does not like. We fear he may have been mishandled at some point without our knowledge. Snaps at strangers coming into home. Has received 6 weeks of obedience training with e-collar and chain link collar for walking. Will need additional training that is consistent to help with his aggressive reaction towards unknown folks entering home or nearing his caregiver. He is a protective dog with a big heart and very lovable to those he knows and trust. Please give him a chance and save him from being euthanized.
