About Whiskey

Needing to rehome my baby, Whiskey. His mom was full bloodhound and his dad we believe was a mix of English coonhound and something else. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and he's been by my side 24/7 most of his life. Since he was almost a year old he's gone through moving from Georgia to South Carolina, we were living in hotels for 6 months, moved 2 more times and had another 2 month stint in hotels in between those moves. The whole time I was in an abusive relationship that Whiskey, and myself, developed pretty severe anxiety and separation issues. I was finally able to leave that relationship and now I'm here in Kentucky staying with my mom during this huge transition in my life. As badly as I want to keep my baby with me, I'm not able to provide him the life he deserves and the life he needs to thrive. He's the sweetest most loving boy, he's so incredibly smart and also incredibly goofy and ditzy in his own ways. I just want to find the best new forever home that I can for him so he can live the life he deserves. This is an urgent situation and I'm doing everything I can to keep him out of shelters and away from the risk of being euthanized.
