About Vincent- Urgent!!

Urgent!! Vincent is at a high kill shelter in Los Angeles California. He is such a good boy! A volunteer favorite!' The shelters are under extreme overcrowding and are euthanizing dogs at an alarming rate. Please safe this sweet boy!! He was found as a stray in February of 2024 and has been at the East Valley animal shelter ever since. He's about 4 years old and 54lbs. The amazing volunteers of East Valley secured him a temporary foster when shelter life became too much for him and he needed surgery for the hematoma (ear) he developed in the shelter. He is now fully recovered and is ready to embark on his next adventure! He loves treats, tennis balls and meeting new friends, two and four legged! After five weeks of recovery, wearing a sock over his ears and a cone, with the support of LARPBO - Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners, Vincent is preparing for his forever home by practicing his leash manners, proper dog socialization and general obedience. He knows 'sit' and 'down'! He loves his crate and is very comfortable going in there and chilling for a while. As soon as he is out he will absolutely let you know how happy he is to be hanging with you and will show you by rolling around and nuzzling into you! He is very gentle taking treats, loves tennis balls and has been enjoying his morning jogs around the neighborhood!
